Brookwood Manor provides a wide range of training opportunities for its staff whatever their level of qualification or job role. We use a combination of internal, external and electronic training providers, not only to deliver the statutory update training but also to support our staff in their career development. We're committed to meeting the aspirations of all our staff.

All staff attend comprehensive induction training when they join Brookwood Manor to provide them with knowledge of their new working environment and the residents they will be caring for. Every one of our employees has an individual learning programme to develop both professional and interpersonal skills; this ensures they gain appropriate skills and qualifications for each client group in our homes.

As part of our commitment to deliver high standards of relationship-centred care, we encourage our staff to enrol onto specialised training and development courses, including dementia care and courses on meaningful activities within care home settings

We're keen to develop and promote staff from within the company and have put a leadership development plan in place for managers. Our senior team works with each individual to support their learning needs to expand their knowledge and skills and develop their career.
